Plan your meals with a feature called Food Stream. You can easily view a forecast and create lists of groceries needed to make those meals, either daily, weekly or even two months ahead. And when you mark items as cooked, you'll see them in your history page, where you'll be able to see which recipes are cooked more often, and which ingredients you consume the most.
Ingredients in Cookspin can be added, modified and deleted independently from your recipes. And it's not just for input suggestion: each ingredient is uniquely identifiable and your recipes and grocery lists can sum up quantities of the same ingredients and give you the consolidated list.
